When my estranged wife visited Leicester for the only time (so far) I took her to Leicester market, I proudly proclaimed that this was indeed, the biggest undercover market in europe. As usual she took it in her stride and upon feeling up a tomato was greeted by the seller. “Do you want it?, yes, no, yes, no… foook off then” he rasped….the wife turned at me, her eyes went to the top of her head and she just laughed. Priceless.
