OK, I’m looking forward to my weekend.
Tonight: Darts practice at the Trafalgar pub, after yet another defeat earlier in the week in our darts league to The Nelson, the team decided that we must reinstate Friday night darts practice. Great, real ale and darts and banter.
Tomorrow: Right, well it’s FA Cup weekend, lunchtime kick off on ITV1 sees Preston North End vs. Chelsea, I shall settle down at home having polished off a wonderful brunch prepared by my good hands, possibly smoke a small reefer and witness a professional and business like performance from the blues, this will of course be reflected in the eventual final scoreline.
I shall also endeavour to de-frag my flat of all the rubbish that I have accumulated over the years. Just get rid of stuff and start from afresh.
Tomorrow evening: Jack Valentine performs live in the Trafalgar. My mum and dad are coming down with two of their friends I’ve known since I was knee high to a grass hopper. Jack performs brat pack songs and swing in the style of Frank Sinatra and I have to say that not only is he a good bloke but he’s very good at his craft.
Sunday: I’m going on my second meet up in London, basically this is an excellent way to meet new people who have similar interests. It invloves walking and talking with people who want to expand their social scene and have an appreciation for London as a city. The afternoon will involve a pub for a drink :-) and the to see a free film. In this case it’s “Hurt Locker”, which sounds interesting. I think there’s a meal involved somewhere too…the link’s below.
