Dear Customer Services

Having booked a return ticket to Norwich I was frustrated to learn that the time I had chosen (2.00pm) departing liverpool Street was not acknowledged by your on line booking system and instead I was given a 12.00 noon departure time. This normally wouldn’t have been an issue however I was planning to join friends who had already booked the 2.00pm train out of Liverpool Street. I called your customer services dept and they informed that there were seats available on the 2.00pm train so didn’t know why my request wasn’t accepted. I didn’t accept their offer to re-book the outward bound journey, collect the original booking tickets from the machine and send them back for a refund. Too much faffing about for £8.00….in fact, while I’m at it, I seem to spend a lot of time faffing about with business’s who masquerade as service providers.
