I have to take umbrage at SteveC’s remark regarding pale beers…

Mmmm, my local, The Trafalgar currently has two cask ales that can be described as pale
American Pale Ale brewed by Dark Star, see comments below…

Our speciality vanilla beer, this is a golden ale that balances out sweet vanilla flavours with some equally fragrant and punchy hops. Please note this is a beer that’s strongly flavoured with vanilla and one that is definitely a talking point. Not for the cautious.
That’s just for starters, I’m sure there are many more interestingly flavoured and very suppable pale beers the world over.
